Fanfiction, I Love It

I love reading fanfic, and discovering so many different perspectives and remarkable insights these works can draw out of the original material.
I want to write fic as good as all those wonderful stories I've found and kept for future re-reading, and hope to someday finish those little snippets I've stored away.
Which is why I'm LOL-ing at this. I can't compose a serious and well-thought out reply, because all I keep coming up with is
Seriously. I feel so sorry for this person.
Instead of feeling outraged, I feel like spamming the OP with fic links. There are places other than FF.Net to find good fic, without as much eye-burn and brain-bleach (though to be fair, FF.Net's got some gems of its own, too).
