Mysterious Ways

kat_on_tableI wasn't able to take my board exams yesterday. I got hit by a high-grade fever the whole day of Saturday, and the added dizziness rendered me practically useless for brainy things the entirety of yesterday. Still feeling the after-effects today, but I should be fine by tomorrow.
I felt pretty bad at first, because all those review sessions and missing classes were for nothing. I even thought I was well enough to go (but the thermometer didn't, which is why I stayed home instead). Then THIS happened.
The school where I was supposed to take my exams is located along Taft. Had I actually gone, my parents and sisters would have been chilling at the McDonalds right next to where the bomb went off (some reports say the bomb was in front of McD.)
Things happen for a reason, and all that.... Huh.
